Ferrari has finally revealed the official details of 612 Scaglietti successor, called the Ferrari FF last week. Designed by Pininfarina, the Ferrari FF kind of remind me of a model from BMW. You feel the same too? Yes its look is quite similar to the Z4 model but with a Ferrari price tag (and with Ferrari performance as well of course).

It is expected to hit the production line in 2012 but will meet the public in March at the Geneva Motor Show. The FF is actually an acronym for Ferrari Four which implies its four seats and four-wheel-drive features. And if you are wondering, yes this is Ferrari’s first four wheel drive model.

Under the hood there is a 6262 cc direct injection V12 engine that delivers an impressive 660 HP at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 503 lbs-ft at 6000 rpm. With this impressive power, the FF will sprint from 0 to 100 kph in 3.7 seconds with top speed of 335 kph.

With expected price rumored to be around USD 700k, I just don’t think it is the car to look out for because its un-ferrari-like body. I love the concept of a shooting break but it just doesn’t say Ferrari to me. 612 Scaglietti, its predecessor, is far more elegant.
